Privacy Policy

The JL Dashboard ("the Dashboard") is an internal business application operated by JL Restaurant Management for use by its employees, managers, and authorized contractors. It is not offered to the general public.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, work email address, role, and store assignments, created by company administrators.
• Operational business data — sales, labor, invoices, schedules, checklists, and related restaurant-operations records entered by users or synced from the company's own business systems.
• Accounting data from QuickBooks Online — when a company administrator connects a QuickBooks Online company file, the Dashboard retrieves financial reports (such as Profit and Loss) through Intuit's APIs. Access is authorized via OAuth; the Dashboard stores only the access tokens needed to maintain the connection and the report data used for internal financial reporting.

How information is used

Data is used solely for JL Restaurant Management's internal operations: financial reporting, scheduling, ordering, maintenance, and related management functions. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

The Dashboard integrates with business systems used by the company (including Intuit QuickBooks Online, point-of-sale, scheduling, and invoicing services). Data exchanged with these services is limited to what each integration requires. Use of Intuit services is subject to Intuit's own terms and privacy policy.

Security and retention

Access to the Dashboard requires authentication, and permissions are role-based. Integration credentials, including QuickBooks tokens, are stored server-side and are never exposed to end users. Business records are retained for as long as they are needed for company operations and legal requirements.

Disconnecting QuickBooks

A company administrator can disconnect a QuickBooks company at any time from the Dashboard's QuickBooks Connections page, which deletes the stored tokens for that connection.
